Meninas de Oaxaca is artisanally produced mezcal according to NOM (Norma Official Mexicana) regulations. What mezcal connoisseurs say about Meninas de Oaxaca: NOSE (SMELL) Tobalá de Meninas de Oaxaca’s fresh dew on the grass notes take you to Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, Southwestern Mexico. THROAT (FEEL) Round in mouth, Meninas of Oaxaca´s Tobalá is characterized by it’s herbal citrusy notes of ivy and chepiche (Oaxacan tarragon). The sweet acidity of manzanita criolla (local baby apples) tops it off to tingle the tongue. It is faithful to the traditional agave of Minas, Oaxaca. PALATE (FLAVOUR) Tobalá of Meninas is surprisingly fresh and kind to the palate. Spicy notes of chepiche and water chili come from the agave’s dominant citrus and herbs aromas. Tones of apple and chamomile linger. |
